The Mike Rolle Band is made up of three guys who have a lot of fun playing music together. The members of the band are Mike Rolle, Doug Butrum, and John DiCenso. The band started back in early 2002, spending time at Mike's place playing different styles of music including rock, pop, jazz, fusion, funk, and blues. At that time the members were Mike Rolle, Jerome Cheatham, and John DiCenso. This membership lasted for 4 great years. Jerome left the band at the end of 2006 in order to focus on his family and career. His influence on the MRB remains strong and his friendship and musicianship will always be highly valued.

The band took a break for the better part of a year until Doug joined the group in the fall of 2007. As we enter into the next chapter in the life of the MRB our goals remain the same:

• To play good music that you enjoy listening and dancing to and that we enjoy playing.
• To be among good friends...be it our friends or yours. We hope to create a comfortable, be-yourself-atmosphere where you thoroughly enjoy yourself and want to come back for more.
• To have fun!! In addition to hoping you have a good time, we hope to have fun as well. In fact, we demand it of ourselves to have fun. We hope our enthusiasm and sometimes unabashed joy is catchy.
