The Mike Rolle Band is made up of three guys who have a lot of fun playing music together. The members of the band are Mike Rolle, Jerome Cheatham, and John DiCenso....yes, Jerome is back!!! The band started back in early 2002, spending time at Mike's place playing different styles of music including rock, pop, jazz, fusion, funk, and blues. This membership lasted for 5 great years. Jerome left the band at the end of 2006 in order to focus on his family and career. His influence on the MRB was strong and his friendship and musicianship made an indelible impression.

The band took a break for the better part of a year until Doug Butrum joined the group in the fall of 2007. Doug, a fine bass player and great person, added a new spark to the MRB and the band did some fun gigs. However, family, real jobs, and life in general seemed to get in the way of the MRB ever really getting back in the swing of things.

Fast forward to December, 2009. Jerome has rejoined the band and this trio of middle-aged men are trying to rekindle the fire that brought them together 8 years ago. The band's goals remain the same:

• To play good music that you enjoy listening and dancing to and that we enjoy playing.
• To be among good friends...be it our friends or yours. We hope to create a comfortable, be-yourself-atmosphere where you thoroughly enjoy yourself and want to come back for more.
• To have fun!! In addition to hoping you have a good time, we hope to have fun as well. In fact, we demand it of ourselves. We hope our enthusiasm and sometimes unabashed joy is catchy.
